An exciting opportunity has arisen at a respected firm in Blackpool, renowned for its strong regional presence. Due to substantial growth in their audit department, they are seeking a skilled Audit Senior to join their expanding team and take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Audit Manager in planning, executing, and finalising audit engagements.
- Prepare management accounts and statutory financial statements for limited companies and groups.
- Prepare corporation tax calculations and file returns for corporate clients.
- Draft income tax calculations for sole traders and partnerships.
- Support compliance-related tasks, including preparing VAT returns.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Mentor and oversee junior team members, aiding in their professional development.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) or working towards it.
- Proficient in audit, accounting, and tax software.
- Full, clean driver's license.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and teams.
