Audit Senior
Job/firm overview:
LHH is pleased to collaborate with a top 100 firm in Bristol that is in search of a motivated and experienced Audit Senior.
In this role, you will lead an audit team, guide junior team members, and manage a diverse client portfolio. Your duties will involve planning and conducting statutory audits for corporate clients, both in the office and on-site.
The firm has a growing audit team that prioritises learning and development, offering a clear and straightforward path to management.
Responsibilities:
- Support the audit manager by planning, executing, and completing audit assignments.
- Prepare management accounts.
- Create statutory accounts, corporation tax calculations, and returns for limited companies and groups.
- Prepare accounts for partnerships and sole traders, including drafting income tax calculations.
- Assist with various compliance tasks, such as preparing VAT returns.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Train and supervise junior staff members.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Competent in audit, accounting and tax software.
- Full clean drivers licence.
- Able to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills.
