Our client is seeking a Senior Payroll Consultant to join their dynamic EMEA Payroll Operations group within GHR Shared Services. Reporting to the EMEA Payroll Manager, you will support the France Payroll Team Lead, ensuring smooth payroll processes and compliance with French legislation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the monthly payroll process, identifying gaps and implementing efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with the EMEA/FR Pay Manager to maintain vendor engagement and ensure compliance.
- Participate in key Payroll deliverable projects and provide support for monthly pay activities.
- Manage the payroll for France entities, ensuring accuracy in benefits, taxes, and statutory obligations.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders for monthly and annual reporting.
- Liaise with local authorities for regulatory alignment and ensure SOX controls are in place.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in French Payroll and strong knowledge of related legislation.
- Excellent Excel and PC skills, with experience in payroll software.
- Strong communication skills in both English and French, with attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with a focus on building effective relationships.
Desirable:
- Experience in banking or large corporations, with a background in payroll accounting.
