The Role
This is a remarkable opportunity for a newly qualified solicitor up to 4 years post qualification experience (PQE) who is eager to advance their career in private client law. As a key member of the Wills and Inheritance team, you will manage your own caseload of private client files. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Assisting clients with Inheritance Tax Planning
- Managing elderly client matters
- Supporting team members and contributing to the overall success of the department
In addition to handling your own cases, you will play a vital role in business development and networking activities to raise the firm's profile and expand its client base.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a newly qualified to 4 years PQE in private client law
- Strong technical skills and a solid understanding of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Inheritance Tax Planning
- Excellent business development aptitude, with a proactive approach to client engagement
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring effective client management
