Join Our Client's Team as an Accounts Assistant.


Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey with a vibrant team in the tourism industry? We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic and experienced Accounts Assistant to play a vital role in our client's dynamic organisation.


This is a fully on-site, full-time role, with flexible working hours.


Pay: £26,000.00 - £29,000.00 per year


Potential for study support for further AAT / ACCA / CIMA studies


This is not a role which just involves the handling the day-to-day finance, you will also be actively involved in creating new templates, processes & solving problems / looking for improvements, using your own initiative.


Regular Responsibilities:


  • Handle day-to-day financial transactions with precision.
  • Maintain and update financial records to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in balance sheet reconciliations and bank statement reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
  • Collaborate with the cashier to reconcile daily takings.

About You:

We're looking for someone who is:


  • Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software with good knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Highly IT literate, with intermediate Excel skills.
  • An effective communicator with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
