The Opportunity
A well-established professional services firm is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join its London-based team on a part-time basis (3 days per week). This hands-on generalist role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position and enjoys working closely with management to support the full HR lifecycle - from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and compliance.

The Role
Reporting to senior management, the HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations and providing trusted guidance to staff and line managers.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing recruitment processes: posting vacancies, liaising with agencies, screening CVs, arranging interviews, and preparing offer documentation.
Coordinating onboarding and induction processes, including documentation and probation reviews.
Maintaining accurate and confidential HR records and systems (e.g., BrightHR).
Providing first-line advice on HR and employee relations matters, supporting investigations and disciplinary processes where required.
Overseeing training coordination and maintaining the firm's training matrix.
Managing absence and holiday records.
Preparing reports and updates for payroll.
Supporting performance management processes and policy compliance.
Monitoring the HR inbox and ensuring timely responses.
Assisting with HR projects, policy updates, and audits.
About You
You'll be a capable and confident HR professional who enjoys variety and autonomy. You'll bring excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to build trust quickly across all levels of the business.
Essential requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in an HR Administrator, Advisor, or similar role.
Strong understanding of HR processes, confidentiality, and compliance.
Experience supporting recruitment and employee relations.
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise within a part-time schedule.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience using HR systems such as BrightHR is advantageous.
