As an In-House Lawyer, you will be an integral part of the team, offering expert legal support to drive business growth while ensuring compliance and managing risk across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Offer pragmatic legal advice on a wide range of commercial contracts and business initiatives.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including licensing agreements, IT contracts, SaaS agreements, marketing terms, and data processing contracts.
Work closely with teams across the company - Commercial, Operations, Data, and Technology -to ensure smooth contract management and legal understanding.
Keep legal documentation up-to-date and ensure policies align with current regulations.
Stay informed on relevant legal trends and industry regulations to provide proactive guidance.
Lead internal training sessions on key legal topics and organisational policies.
Assist the General Counsel with various legal and governance matters.
About You:
You are a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
You have a strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and a solid understanding of IP/IT law, data protection, and contract law.
Experience in an in-house legal environment is highly desirable.
You are a confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders across the business.
We also offer part-time options, with the role available for 4 or 5 days a week.
