Location: London


Our client is looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to support commercial, M&A, and corporate legal matters across the UK, USA, Europe and South Africa. This role is ideal for someone with legal expertise in international business environments, particularly within the BPO, tech, or AI sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Provide legal advice on contract terms, obligations, and risk management.
  • Support M&A transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and integration.
  • Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and internal policies.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g. GDPR, CCPA), including data processing and transfer agreements.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel on complex legal matters.

Requirements:


  • Qualified lawyer with a degree from a recognised institution (UK, US, or equivalent).
  • 10 years' experience in commercial law, M&A, and corporate governance.
  • Familiarity with legal issues in BPO, AI, or tech industries.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
