What You'll Do:
As a Prudential Risk Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
Stay Ahead: Keep up to date with prudential regulatory requirements relevant to our client's diverse portfolio, ensuring timely implementation of changes, including updates to policies and procedures.
Timely Reporting: Assist clients with their RegData reporting obligations and ensure submissions are accurate and punctual.
Data Insight: Review client data to identify potential issues and offer solutions to enhance compliance.
ICARA Preparation: Support clients in preparing their Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICARA), applying detailed risk management principles and stress testing techniques.
Expert Advice: Provide high-quality guidance on prudential reporting matters, ensuring clients remain informed and compliant.
Financial Projections: Collaborate with various teams to review financial projections for FCA authorisations, variations of permission, and change in control applications.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Prudential Reporting on Group Consolidation under MIFIDPRU, addressing structuring and issue identification.
Due Diligence: Assist with Prudential Due Diligence for clients involved in acquiring Financial Services companies.
Flexibility: Be prepared to take on additional tasks as assigned by the Head of Prudential Reporting, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic environment.
Who You Are:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of prudential reporting for MiFID/non-MiFID firms, including familiarity with the FCA Handbook, GENPRU, MIFIDPRU, IFPRU, and IPRU-INV.
Experience: Previous experience in preparing ICAAPs is essential.
Attention to Detail: An eagle eye for detail to ensure compliance and accuracy in all reporting matters.
Accounting Knowledge: Solid grounding in accounting principles to support your advisory role.
