About the Opportunity
We are supporting a well‑established, global organisation seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Representative to join their high‑performing Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid AR or Credit Control experience who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
You will play a key role in driving collection efficiency, reducing aged debt, managing credit risk, and ensuring accurate, timely billing processes.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage daily collections, issue statements, contact customers, and resolve payment disputes
- Conduct credit risk assessments on new and existing accounts and take corrective actions
- Review and release orders on hold
- Upload invoices into external customer portals
- Work closely with Customer Services, Sales, FP&A, IT and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies (pricing, short shipments, invalid PO numbers, billing issues, etc.)
- Support the Sales team by balancing revenue goals with credit‑risk considerations
- Assist with cash allocation when required
- Handle collections activity for Nordic customer accounts (Danish, Finnish), as well as others
- Carry out ad‑hoc credit control duties as requested
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Strong experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control
- Confidence working with customers to resolve issues and improve cashflow
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- The ability to work efficiently in a hybrid, fast‑paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build internal and external relationships
