Planning Associate - Exciting Opportunity in Manchester/Sheffield
Join a Tier 1 ranked Planning team and be at the forefront of consenting some of the largest and most significant development and energy & infrastructure projects in the UK. Our client, a global firm is looking for an enthusiastic Planning Associate to join their team.
About the role:
- Part of a growing and dynamic team, working with partners recognised for their expertise
- Diverse mix of work with a good degree of responsibility
- Advising on planning for major developments, including strategy, application review, statutory agreements, and more
- Opportunities to work on projects in all sectors, including housing, offices, retail, data centres, and logistics
- Collaboration with Real Estate and Energy teams
About you:
- Qualified solicitor, ideally between NQ-2PQE
- Demonstrates interest and enthusiasm for development planning and wider consenting
- Strong experience in a recognised planning team, regeneration and redevelopment experience beneficial
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ambitious and committed to business development and client relationship management
- Commercially oriented with a commitment to innovation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Well-organised with strong administration and time management skills
