We are supporting a respected organisation within the private children's residential care sector in their search for an experienced and passionate Learning and Development Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who cares deeply about developing others and improving outcomes for children and young people.
Our client's mission is to continually uplift the lives of the children they support, as well as their families and communities. They recognise that delivering exceptional care begins with investing in outstanding training and development for their teams - and that's where you come in.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a Learning and Development Partner with a minimum of 3 years' experience in residential children's services. Your first‑hand knowledge will be invaluable in delivering effective, meaningful training that equips staff with the confidence and competence needed to support children in care.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending practical experience with structured learning delivery, and who thrives on helping others grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality training across essential areas, including safeguarding, emergency first aid, and the internal Pillars programme, ensuring content is practical, relevant, and grounded in real-world experience.
- Work closely with the wider L&D team to design, plan, and evaluate training sessions that meet regulatory requirements and reflect the evolving needs of residential services.
- Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance, mentorship, and professional insight across children's residential teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sector legislation, best practice standards, and emerging trends, ensuring training materials remain current and impactful.
What Our Client Offers
- A friendly, collaborative team dedicated to your ongoing professional development.
- Comprehensive induction and continued training opportunities.
- The chance to make a genuine, lasting difference to the lives of children and young people.
If you are passionate about raising standards of care and empowering others through high‑quality training, we would love to hear from you.
Please note:
Our client is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the past two years, along with details of all roles involving work with children or vulnerable individuals dating back to full‑time education.
