Accounts Senior
Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior to join their expanding team. In this position, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation and providing valuable financial insights.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with entrepreneurial clients to offer guidance for their expanding businesses.
- Prepare annual accounts and tax computations for both incorporated and unincorporated entities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage self-assessment tax returns, providing clarity on clients' obligations.
- Advise clients on capital tax matters, including inheritance tax and capital gains tax.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for effective financial reporting.
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns and ensure timely compliance with submission deadlines.
- Communicate with HMRC to address and resolve client inquiries.
- Provide administrative and business setup services to facilitate client growth.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Able to perform effectively under pressure.
- Skilled in Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks.
- Experienced in preparing accounts for partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies.
- Consistently meets deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities and a strong attention to detail.
