About the Role
We are partnering with a well‑established private healthcare organisation that is looking to appoint a professional and reliable Part‑Time Receptionist. This is a front‑of‑house role supporting a busy corporate environment, ensuring visitors and internal staff receive a high‑quality, seamless experience.
The position offers steady part‑time hours and would suit someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a warm, attentive manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the reception desk during core hours, including answering incoming calls, taking clear messages, and passing them on promptly.
- Providing lunchtime cover for the wider reception team when needed.
- Preparing boardrooms for internal and external meetings, ensuring rooms are set up professionally and ready for use.
- Tidying and resetting rooms after meetings to maintain a high standard of presentation.
- Supporting executives with occasional lunch runs or ad‑hoc errands during long meeting blocks.
- Handling general administrative tasks, such as scanning, filing, scheduling support, and data entry.
Candidate Profile
- Previous reception, administrative, or customer‑facing experience (healthcare setting experience beneficial but not required).
- Polished communication skills and a friendly, professional presence.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently.
- Proactive and willing to support colleagues as needed.
