Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for risk management in the energy sector? Our client is on the lookout for a talented Risk Business Partner to join their centralised assurance function in Warwick. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact within a critical team.

Daily Rate: £450 - £500 (via umbrella)
Contract Length: 6 months
Working Pattern: Full Time
Location: Warwick, 1 day a week on site
Role Overview:
As an Enterprise Risk Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the capture and documentation of risk and control activities within the Enterprise landscape. Reporting to the Enterprise Risk Manager, you will:
- Provide valuable consultancy services and insights to elevate risk management processes.
- Work within the second line of defence, collaborating with our Executive Management team and Senior Leaders.
- Ensure effective risk management practises are in place across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Activities:
- Offer expert advice to facilitate risk identification, assessment, management, and monitoring.
- Lead workshops with Executives and senior leaders to drive the identification and documentation of business controls.
- Deliver timely and comprehensive reporting to risk leads and heads of departments.
Indirect Activities:
- Support formal reporting to the Executive Team, Audit and Risk Committee, and occasionally to the Board.
- Collaborate with fellow Risk Business Partners to deliver impactful risk workshops.
Analysis and Insight:
- Contribute to the enhancement of insights and data provision, utilising horizon scanning and emerging risk concepts.
Building Capability and Culture:
- Cultivate strong stakeholder relationships with key contacts to foster the maturity of risk assurance activities across first and second lines.
Who You Are:
You have solid experience in Risk Management, with a deep understanding of tools, processes, and systems.
You possess business change experience, effective communication skills, and a knack for stakeholder management.
You are self-motivated, capable of working independently, yet thrive in a team environment.
An understanding of the energy sector, including its regulatory environment and key challenges, is essential.
Familiarity with ServiceNow is a plus.
