LHH is working with our client in South Ozone Park that is looking to hire a SAP S/4HANA Implementation Specialist. Please only apply to this role if you are able to commute to South Ozone Park 3 days a week. No relocation will be offered.

Our client is seeking a strategic and technically adept SAP S/4HANA Implementation Specialist to lead cross-functional initiatives, enhance procurement processes, and support supplier diversity and sustainability. In this role, you will collaborate across departments to design, implement, and optimize next-generation supply chain solutions.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and coordinate end-to-end SAP S/4HANA and Ariba implementation projects, from requirements gathering and process mapping to post-launch support.

· Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to align the configuration and deployment of procurement and supply chain systems with business objectives.

· Drive improvements in procurement processes, increasing user awareness and adoption of new tools and workflows.

· Champion initiatives that promote supplier diversity and embed sustainability efforts into supply chain operations.

· Manage all operational aspects of the project team, including throughput, workflow, accuracy, compliance, and achievement of key performance indicators, while keeping within established timelines and budgets.

· Oversee change management and user training programs to ensure smooth system transitions and long-term engagement.

· Monitor and report on project performance, risk management, and deliverables, supporting continuous improvement and optimization.

· Provide expert support in contract management, forecasting, material requirements planning, supplier identification and selection, and vendor management.

· Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout system implementation and operation.

Preferred Skills & Experience

· Minimum of 6 years' hands-on experience in Procurement and Supply Chain, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and Ariba implementation.

· Demonstrated proficiency in ERP systems, especially in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functions, support operations, output, and reporting.

· Strong analytical and systems knowledge, with an ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

· Experience in change management, supply chain system implementation and monitoring, vendor management, and reporting.

· Background in contract management, forecasting, material requirements planning, supplier identification and selection, and risk management tracking.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

· Bachelor's degree required, ideally in business, supply chain, information systems, or a related field.

· Master's degree in business or another analytical subject area preferred.
