LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-respected organization to fill a Payroll Administrator position. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong payroll expertise to support critical year-end processes. The role is fully remote, offering flexibility while working standard business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST). This is a temporary assignment expected to last for at least 3 months. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and process bi-weekly payroll for 150+ employees.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, wage and hour regulations, and company policies.
Review and reconcile payroll reports, deductions, and benefits contributions.
Manage payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare and file payroll tax returns and year-end reporting (W-2, 1099).
Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and reconciliation.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on employee data, benefits, and audits.
Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for compliance purposes.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
4+ years of experience in payroll processing, with knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., Ceridian Dayforce, Workday, or similar).
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
$25-35/hr
