Type: Temp-to-Hire (Approx. 4 months temping before conversion)
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week
Job Summary
LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in downtown Raleigh seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, tech-savvy professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting legal operations. The role provides administrative support across all practice areas and requires attention to detail, multitasking ability, and proficiency with technology.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice areas
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate deadlines
Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents, correspondence, and mailings
Maintain and organize physical and electronic files
Assist with billing and time entry processes
Research and verify information as needed for legal matters
Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualifications
1–3 years of professional administrative experience (legal experience preferred)
Strong technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and grammar
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently
Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
