Type: Temp-to-Hire (Approx. 4 months temping before conversion)
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 hours/week


Job Summary

LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in downtown Raleigh seeking a Legal Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a bright, tech-savvy professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting legal operations. The role provides administrative support across all practice areas and requires attention to detail, multitasking ability, and proficiency with technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals across multiple practice areas

  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate deadlines

  • Prepare, proofread, and process legal documents, correspondence, and mailings

  • Maintain and organize physical and electronic files

  • Assist with billing and time entry processes

  • Research and verify information as needed for legal matters

  • Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams


Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of professional administrative experience (legal experience preferred)

  • Strong technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and grammar

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
