About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to keep cash moving, teams aligned, and processes tight.

We’re looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager to oversee a high-volume AR function, lead a small team, and bring structure to billing, cash application, and collections. This role is ideal for someone who can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement and team leadership.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop a team of AR professionals, including oversight of workload, priorities, and performance

  • Oversee high-volume invoicing and cash application processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

  • Monitor AR aging and drive collections efforts to reduce past due balances and improve cash flow

  • Review and reconcile customer accounts, resolving discrepancies and partnering cross-functionally when needed

  • Support and oversee billing operations, including invoice consolidation and customer-specific requirements

  • Manage reporting around AR performance, including aging, collections activity, and key metrics

  • Approve timecards and support operational reporting tied to revenue and billing activity

  • Serve as an escalation point for customer or internal issues related to billing and payments

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and overall efficiency within the AR function


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable, billing, or collections

  • 2+ years of leadership or team lead experience

  • Experience working in a high-volume environment (large invoice volume, complex billing)

  • Strong understanding of AR processes, including billing, cash application, and collections

  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets

  • Experience working within ERP/accounting systems (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar)

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams and handle escalations

  • Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
