LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company near Addison, IL with a search for an accounting specialist/junior accountant. This a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone that can handle accounts payable and assist with month end close. This role offers growth potential and ideal for someone that wants to learn all aspects of accounting and the business.
Responsibilities:
Review and process accounts payable
Ensure payment accuracy and approvals in a timely manner
Communicate with vendors
Assist with billing
Discrepancy resolution
Reconcile vendor statements and accounts
Reconcile bank accounts
Reports for month end close
Requirements:
Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar preferred or 2+ years of experience in accounting
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage deadlines
Accuracy
Interest in progressing in accounting
Collaborative in a team environment
Pay: $24-$26/hour
Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
