Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Terraform
Location: 5 Days Per Week On-Site
Employment Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Azure, Terraform, and end‑to‑end software delivery pipelines. This role requires a strong background in modern DevOps practices, cloud architecture, CI/CD automation, and building secure, scalable cloud environments. The ideal candidate is a senior‑level engineer who can drive initiatives from ideation through deployment and production monitoring.
Required Qualifications
Core Technical Experience
7+ years of experience in Technology
5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer (not SRE)
7+ years performing end-to-end development processes, including:
Ideation and requirements review
CI/CD pipeline creation
Security scanning
Production deployments and monitoring
5+ years of hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
5+ years using GitHub or Azure DevOps
5+ years architecting, deploying, and optimizing Azure Landing Zones to establish secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments
Azure Expertise
Experience with Azure Virtual Machines
Experience with Azure SQL Database
Experience with Azure Automation
Collaboration & Documentation
2+ years partnering with Product and Business stakeholders to prioritize features and define technical or business objectives
2+ years documenting infrastructure and operational processes, including:
Architecture diagrams
Runbooks
Code-level commits
README files
Very Nice to Have
2+ years experience with Microsoft 365 Governance via Code and/or 3rd‑party governance tools
Establishing policies using IaC
Integrating governance solutions for compliance and security
2+ years experience with Entra ID (Azure AD) Management via Code
Automating identity lifecycle management, access controls, and security policies
Azure DevOps Engineer or similar Azure certification (proof required)
Nice to Have
Experience serving as the primary technical representative for DevOps teams when working with vendors and project teams
Pay Details: $140,000.00 to $200,000.00 per year
