Administrative Assistant
Procurement & Supply Chain
LHH Recruitment is partnering with a well-established construction company in Albuquerque, NM, to fill an immediate opening for a Construction Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting fast-paced construction operations. The hourly range is between $21/hr-$24/hr.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to project managers, superintendents, and office staff
- Assist with document preparation, filing, and maintaining project records
- Update spreadsheets, logs, and internal tracking systems
- Prepare job packets, permits, and project-related documentation
- Answer phones, greet visitors, and provide customer service to vendors and subcontractors
- Support scheduling activities and coordinate meetings as needed
- Assist with purchase orders, timesheets, and job cost documentation
- Ensure all paperwork is accurate, organized, and submitted on time
- Perform general office duties such as scanning, data entry, emailing, and coordinating deliveries
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous administrative experience; construction or related industry experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite Monday–Friday
