Senior Project Manager

Location: Arden Hills, MN (Hybrid)
Pay Range: $73 – $85/hour

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives supporting a global medical device Quality organization. This role focuses on cardiology products already in the market and plays a critical part in ensuring patient safety, product quality, and strong post-market performance.

As the first dedicated project manager supporting a team of roughly 50 senior leaders, you’ll help establish project management structure, introduce best practices, and drive consistency across multiple high-impact initiatives. You’ll work closely with teams across the U.S., Ireland, and Costa Rica, bringing clarity, prioritization, and momentum to projects that matter.

What You’ll Do

Project Planning & Execution

  • Estimate project scope, effort, and resource needs using established project management techniques

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using Microsoft Project and related tools

  • Drive execution by assigning tasks, tracking milestones, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans

  • Resolve project issues through strong partnership with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate across Quality functions to align priorities and project objectives

  • Conduct regular check-ins with project leaders to monitor progress and ensure alignment to business needs

  • Hold teams accountable to timelines and proactively escalate risks

  • Manage and balance resource allocation across multiple initiatives

Metrics, Reporting & Communication

  • Define and track key performance indicators for projects and organizational initiatives

  • Partner with data analysts to develop dashboards and visual reporting

  • Deliver clear, executive-ready updates through status reports, reviews, and storytelling for leadership

Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Operate in alignment with Quality policies and procedures, reinforcing patient safety and product quality

  • Apply standard project management methodologies to ensure consistency and execution excellence

  • Mentor project leaders and share best practices across the organization

  • Identify interdependencies across projects and provide prioritization recommendations


What You Bring

  • 5+ years of project management experience with a bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years with an MBA)

  • Proven ability to estimate effort, manage resources, and deliver complex projects

  • Hands-on experience creating and managing project plans, schedules, and budgets

  • Strong risk management, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Experience mentoring or supporting other project leaders


Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management certification (PMP or equivalent)

  • Experience within the medical device industry
