We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to support one of our clients in Buckhead, Atlanta. This position is ideal for a professional with a solid foundation in invoice processing, vendor relations, and reconciliation across multiple entities. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage high-volume invoice processing across several legal entities, ensuring precision and prompt payment.

  • Oversee AP inboxes and facilitate invoice approvals with internal stakeholders.

  • Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies through direct engagement.

  • Maintain up-to-date vendor records in alignment with company policies.

  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and contribute to financial reporting.

  • Partner with purchasing and operations teams to ensure correct GL coding and documentation.

  • Identify and recommend process enhancements, including automation opportunities.

  • Act as a liaison for vendor inquiries and internal AP-related questions.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounts payable or a related accounting function.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or NetSuite.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.

  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
