Payroll & HR Specialist – Contract Role (5 Months)
Location: South Austin, TX
Duration: 5-month contract
onsite- 5 days per week
Pay-$32-34/hr based on recent relevant experience
Core Responsibilities
Manage multi-entity payroll (bi-weekly & semi-monthly) from start to finish.
Administer HRIS system: security settings, workflows, API integrations, and custom reporting.
Oversee benefits and compliance: enrollments, ACA, workers’ compensation, Texas unemployment, and garnishments.
Drive process and systems improvements: SOP development, data cleanup, and quarterly system releases.
Deliver workforce analytics: headcount, labor cost, turnover metrics to leadership.
Must-Have Skills :
Proven payroll ownership for 300+ employees across multiple locations.
Power user in cloud-based payroll software.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy under tight deadlines.
Pay Details: $32.00 to $34.00 per hour
