About the Role

The Loan Operations Specialist will handle all post-closing functions and support the full lifecycle of loan documentation, boarding, servicing, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone skilled in loan operations within a banking environment who can thrive in a fast-paced, accuracy, driven role.

Post Closing & Documentation

  • Prepare and validate loan documentation (consumer, mortgage, and commercial) using LaserPro or similar systems.
  • Organize, audit, and maintain complete loan files with all required documents.
  • Review closing packages for accuracy and completeness; request missing items from settlement/title.
  • Handle closing disclosures in accordance with TRID requirements.

Loan Boarding & Maintenance

  • Book and board new loans into the core system.
  • Establish and verify payment schedules based on loan documentation.
  • Perform file maintenance on existing loans, including payment posting corrections and customer service needs.

Lien Perfection & Collateral Tracking

  • Perfect liens on mortgages and deeds of trust.
  • File and track liens for vehicle loans.
  • Monitor and track UCC filings, flood/hazard insurance, and other required collateral documentation.

Reconciliation & Reporting

  • Perform reconciliation of general ledger settlement accounts (daily/monthly).
  • Research and resolve outstanding items promptly.
  • Input wire transfers for settlements.

Internal Collaboration

  • Work closely with loan officers to ensure procedures are followed accurately.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Support exception tracking and resolution across the loan portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in loan operations within a banking environment.
  • Strong understanding of TRID disclosures (preferred).
  • Experience with loan documentation systems such as LaserPro (strongly preferred).
  • Prior experience processing commercial, consumer, and mortgage loans.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to meet fast-paced deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Team player with collaborative mindset and high attention to detail.

Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
