LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our client in their search for a temp to perm Senior Accountant. This is a hybrid position located in Basking Ridge, NJ. NetSuite software experience as well as revenue recognition experience are needed for this role. SaaS industry experience is a plus, but not required.
Job Overview:
Managing the day-to-day accounting operations
Ensuring day-to-day transactions such as AP, cash receipts, AR, credit card, and payroll are recorded
Performing month end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Ensuring proper revenue and expense recognition
Monitoring cash and investment balances and performing cash flow forecasting
Assisting in the development and monitoring of budgets
Performing fiscal year-end close activities
Managing the filing of sales tax
Performing lease accounting
Leading the annual audit
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
CPA certification preferred
3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in NetSuite
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Revenue recognition experience
SaaS industry experience strongly preferred
High level of accuracy
Detail oriented
Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal
