Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Record and review journal entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies as needed
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies
- Collaborate with auditors during financial and compliance audits
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Handle high-volume transactions with a keen attention to detail
- Assist with special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and a strong understanding of financial reporting standards
- Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliations and month-end/year-end closing processes
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
