Software Engineer II (Full Stack or Front End)

Location: Redmond, WA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)
Assignment Type: Contract (12 months, extension likely)

LHH has partnered with a global technology company to support the growth of a core engineering team building modern, cloud-based software that integrates directly with next-generation hardware platforms. We are seeking a Software Engineer II who can contribute independently, collaborate closely with other engineers, and ship production-ready features in an Agile environment.

This is not a junior or entry-level role. The team is looking for someone who has already worked in production systems and is comfortable owning features end to end.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, and deliver front-end and or full-stack features for a browser-based cloud platform

• Work within a two-week Agile sprint cycle, taking ownership of assigned stories from implementation through deployment

• Collaborate closely with other engineers to ensure alignment between front-end and back-end systems

• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in existing production code

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality, performance, and maintainability

• Learn and work within an environment that integrates cloud services with physical hardware systems

• JavaScript and TypeScript

• React

• AWS services such as S3, EC2, DynamoDB

• Experience with cloud-based, browser-accessible applications

• Familiarity working with APIs and distributed systems

What We’re Looking For

• 3–7 years of professional software development experience

• Proven experience contributing to production software systems

• Strong foundation in JavaScript and or TypeScript

• Experience working in an Agile team environment

• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while collaborating effectively with teammates

• Comfortable working in a hybrid onsite environment
