Senior Accountant (Temp to Hire)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to support the finance team with general ledger management, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the entertainment industry and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile complex accounts.

  • Lead month-end close activities, including preparing and analyzing general ledger entries.

  • Investigate and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy.

  • Conduct detailed reviews of divisional/regional balance sheets and bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution and documentation of issues.

  • Prepare balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as directed.

  • Consolidate and review monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages.

  • Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

  • Support divisional management with ad hoc requests and executive reporting.

  • Contribute to special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA/CPA preferred.

  • Strong technical accounting skills.

  • Outstanding organizational and analytical skills; able to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a high-energy setting.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

  • Experience with Oracle is a plus.



Pay Details: $43.00 to $48.00 per hour
