Senior Accountant

LHH is looking to hire a Senior Accountant for a client located in Bolingbrook, IL. They have a welcoming culture, good benefits, and lots of growth potential. This is a hybrid role with 3 days onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct month-end journal entries for corporate and central functions including marketing, insurance, prepaids, debt, and others.

• Perform reconciliations for corporate accounts on the balance sheet.

• Aid in researching and implementing solutions for technical accounting matters.

• Analyze variances and take proactive measures for resolution if necessary.

• Foster connections with various departments to strengthen procedural efficiency and financial oversight.

• Enhance and streamline the process of consolidation and financial reporting.

• Contribute to maintaining the chart of accounts and account mapping.

• Assist in managing ERP and consolidation systems.

• Engage in diverse business processes, technological initiatives, and special projects.

• Support financial audits to ensure compliance with standard protocols.

• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date accounting records.

• Document protocols, procedures, and workflows for designated responsibilities.

• Provide assistance to the Consolidations Manager in reporting, consolidation, and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications:

• 
  

  4-6 years of relevant accounting experience

• 
  

  Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related field

• 
  

  CPA+
