Junior HR Generalist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Junior HR Generalist with 4 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity, located in Bronx, NY.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day support for general HR functions including maintaining employee records, answering HR-related inquiries, and assisting with policy implementation
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding activities and facilitate offboarding processes such as exit interviews and separations
  • Assist with payroll-related updates such as new hires, terminations, and deductions
  • Administer and track Leave of Absence programs including FMLA, Disability, and Paid Family Leave
  • Conduct background checks in compliance with regulatory and funder requirements
  • Maintain accurate HRIS records and prepare routine reports
  • Support performance evaluation processes and help address performance or behavioral concerns
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to stay current on employment laws and HR best practice
  • Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and recognition programs
  • Prepare and maintain HR-related documentation for audits and compliance purposes
Experience:
  • 4 years of Human Resources experience

Salary: $28-32/hr


Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
