Accounts Receivable Specialist
Pay Rate: $23–$26/hour

About the Role
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for our client for a 1st‑shift opportunity in Kenwood, Ohio. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced accounting environment, enjoys working with customers on payment‑related matters, and can confidently manage a portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Process customer payments and apply cash accurately to customer accounts
Manage aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices
Contact customers regarding past due balances and resolve billing discrepancies
Prepare and distribute invoices, statements, and account summaries
Research and resolve payment issues, short‑pays, and chargebacks
Reconcile accounts to ensure accurate financial records
Communicate with internal teams (billing, sales, customer service) to resolve issues
Maintain detailed documentation of all collection and communication activities
Assist with month-end close tasks as needed
Support additional accounting or administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Previous Accounts Receivable or collections experience required
Strong understanding of invoicing, payment posting, and reconciliation
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Experience with accounting or ERP systems preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
Professional and customer‑focused approach when handling account issues
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
