LHH is assisting a highly reputable catastrophic injury law firm located in the Oak Lawn area of Dallas seek a Litigation Paralegal to join their firm. The caseload would be small for a personal injury firm because they handle high severity injury cases. The role involves working on extremely sensitive matters, including infant injuries, sexual assault, and wrongful deaths, requiring maturity, discretion, and resilience.
Benefits:
- Salary ranges from $65,000 - 75,000 DOE
- Free covered parking
- Discretionary year end bonus (not guaranteed)
- Full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life, and 401K (firm matches up to 6%)
Requirements:
- 3+ years Plaintiff catastrophic injury litigation experience at a Texas law firm
- Excellent writing and proofreading skills
- Extremely organized
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office and Westlaw
- Bilingual Spanish a big +++
- Trial prep experience
- Trial/court experience a big +++
- Someone who intends to stay, develop, and build a lasting career with the firm
- Well?presented, articulate, and polished, with strong client?facing presence.

Interview Process:
- Onsite or Virtual Zoom interview with Firm Administrator and Paralegal
- Onsite interview with Partners/Associates
- Offer extended
Culture:
All hands-on deck mentality. Everyone pitches in for everyone. Even Attorneys will answer the phones. There are 3 Attorneys, 1 Paralegal, Office Administrator, and Receptionist/Legal Assistant that make up the firm. Everyone helps each other when needed, with any task.
What You'll Do:
- Manage an active 30?case litigation docket from intake through settlement.
- Draft original correspondence, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and discovery—no templates used.
- Conduct legal research and manage all aspects of discovery.
- Prepare trial materials (witness lists, exhibit binders, trial notebooks, subpoenas, demonstratives).
- Travel for trial to support attorneys onsite.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, courts, experts, and opposing counsel.
- Organize and maintain highly sensitive case files, evidence, and medical documentation.
- Assist with emotionally challenging case details with professionalism and care.
***Job hoppers (change jobs every 2 years) and Paralegals with big PI law firm experience that are used to a very busy docket should not apply***
