LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a client of ours located in Detroit who is seeking a Junior Accountant to join their vibrant team now.
Overview:
Join a dynamic finance team where you'll play a key role in supporting daily financial operations and ensuring the integrity of accounting systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and compile financial reports for internal use
Analyze account activity and investigate discrepancies
Reconcile daily transactions and assist departments with financial data validation
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely postings
Follow internal control procedures to maintain financial security
Summarize financial data for leadership and cross-functional teams
Demonstrate strong time management and problem-solving skills
Support the Accounts Payable process, including invoice tracking and vendor coordination
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred
Experience in a banking or credit union environment ideal
Familiarity with Accounts Payable workflows
Strong analytical and detail-oriented mindset
Compensation & Schedule:
Salary range: $55,000 – $70,000
Paid gated parking
Work hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
