LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a company near Elk Grove Village, IL with a search for an accounting specialist. This a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone that can handle accounts payable and assist with month end close. This role offers growth potential.

Responsibilities:

Review and process accounts payable

Ensure payment accuracy and approvals in a timely manner

Communicate with vendors

Discrepancy resolution

Reconcile vendor statements and accounts

Manage the 1099 and W9 process

Month end accruals

Post journal entries and reconcile accounts

Reports for month end close

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor degree in Accounting or similar

Minimum 2 years of prior experience in accounts payable and month end close

Excellent communication skills

Ability to manage deadlines and be detailed

Collaborative in a team environment

Pay: $27-$29/hour
