What You’ll Do

As the Cost Accountant, you’ll be the financial backbone of our production operations—analyzing costs, optimizing margins, and helping leadership make data-informed decisions. You’ll work closely with production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure every dollar is accounted for and every process is cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on manufacturing costs, variances, and inventory valuation

• Maintain and update standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead

• Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

• Prepare monthly cost reports and support financial close activities

• Monitor inventory transactions and perform cycle count reconciliations

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure analysis

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of standard costing, BOMs, and inventory systems

• Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar)

• Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive mindset

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit
