Job Title: Receptionist (Temp to Hire)


Location: Fredericksburg, VA


Job Description:


Our client is currently seeking a friendly, organized, and proactive Receptionist to be the first point of contact for their company. In this role, you will greet guests, handle incoming calls, and perform general administrative duties. This temporary position is an excellent opportunity to join our team with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.


Responsibilities:



  • Greet, assist, and direct visitors appropriately, ensuring a positive and professional first impression.


  • Manage incoming calls, including screening and forwarding calls, taking messages, and providing information as needed.


  • Maintain reception area and all common areas in a clean and tidy manner at all times.


  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.


  • Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars for conference rooms.


  • Provide clerical support to other departments as needed, including data entry and document preparation.


  • Maintain security by following procedures, monitoring logbook, and issuing visitor badges.


Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; further training in office management is a plus.


  • Proven experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).


  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


  • Friendly and professional demeanor.
