Overview:

A leading clean energy and transit organization is seeking a seasoned Electrification Program Manager to oversee a multi-month(18 month) infrastructure initiative focused on transitioning a regional fleet to electric vehicles. This role will serve as the owner's representative, reporting directly to corporate leadership and ensuring successful execution of a high-impact public transportation electrification project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage large-scale construction efforts including EV charger installations, solar and battery energy storage systems, and fleet deployment.

  • Represent ownership interests across all phases of the project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance standards.

  • Coordinate with engineering, utility, and construction teams to meet project milestones.

  • Oversee inspection processes and ensure adherence to utility construction protocols.

  • Provide regular updates to corporate stakeholders and maintain project documentation.

  • Manage budgets, schedules, and vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing infrastructure projects valued at $10M or more.

  • Strong background in utility construction and inspection.

  • PMP certification preferred.

  • Experience with EV infrastructure, solar energy systems, or public transit projects is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining close coordination with corporate leadership.

Work Environment:

  • 18 to 24 month Contract role

  • Hybrid, onsite and home office

  • Schedule: Flexible; 40 hours per week

  • Reports to corporate office located in Southern California.
