Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: 100% on-site, Ft. Pierce, FL
Pay: $26-$29/hour
Type: Contract to Hire
Are you looking to join a dynamic team where your attention to detail and organizational skills will help drive financial accuracy and process efficiency? We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist who will play a vital role in managing and streamlining our AR operations.
Responsibilities:
Rotate responsibilities on a weekly basis among invoicing, ACH, and check cash application processes to ensure a balanced distribution of workload.
Investigate and resolve short payments and chargebacks, including those related to pallet fees, cross-dock fees, and promotional pricing discrepancies. Coordinate closely with the sales team to secure necessary approvals and resolve outstanding issues.
Maintain meticulous coding and matching of line items; proactively identify and correct discrepancies to guarantee financial accuracy.
Actively participate in ongoing process improvements, share best practices with the team, and remain receptive to innovative ideas and system enhancements.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience handling high-volume accounts receivable tasks, including deductions and chargebacks (experience in retail or wholesale environments is a plus, but not required).
Proficiency with complex ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Great Plains, or Oracle (note: QuickBooks/Quicken experience alone is not sufficient).
Intermediate Excel skills, including the ability to download, manipulate, and analyze data using pivot tables (expert-level formulas are not required).
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt quickly to evolving processes and priorities.
Strong communication skills, with the confidence to coordinate effectively across departments, including sales teams and buyers.
