Looking for a role where you’re not just behind a screen all day? This opportunity blends communication, problem-solving, and finance into one fast-paced position where you’ll work directly with vendors and make an immediate impact.
We’re partnering with a growing organization that is expanding its payment operations team and looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, working through challenges, and helping vendors get set up for success.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Connect with vendors via phone and email to guide them through payment setup and enrollment
Build relationships and educate vendors on modern payment options
Walk suppliers through onboarding, ensuring a smooth and positive experience
Gather and verify payment details, ensuring accuracy and compliance
Track communications and progress to ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Handle objections professionally and confidently while keeping things moving forward
Partner internally to ensure vendors are fully set up and ready for payment processing
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of experience working with vendors in accounts payable, vendor setup, or similar
Experience with 1099 vendor setup and payment onboarding processes
Strong communication skills – comfortable on the phone and via email
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple conversations at once
Someone who can build rapport quickly and navigate objections with confidence
Organized, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
