Position: Jr. Estimator
Salary: 50k-90k depending on experience

Overview
The Junior Project Estimator plays a vital role in supporting the pre-construction and estimating processes for a variety of construction projects. This position works closely with senior estimators, project managers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely cost assessments that align with project goals and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze architectural and engineering drawings to understand project scope and identify cost-driving elements.
Perform quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment across all construction disciplines.
Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates and budgets for new and ongoing projects.
Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and scope alignment.
Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing databases.
Support the preparation of bid packages and assist in bid leveling and vendor selection.
Collaborate with project managers to refine scopes of work and ensure estimates reflect project requirements.
Participate in value engineering efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or performance.
Assist in preparing purchase orders and contract documentation based on finalized estimates.
Track estimate-to-actual cost variances and support post-project cost analysis.
Requirements
Associate’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, construction administration, or a related role.
Strong understanding of construction terminology, materials, and methods.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, ProEst, PlanSwift, or similar).
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
