LHH is looking for a Personal Injury Paralegal to support an attorney with all aspects of personal injury cases. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for helping clients navigate the legal process. Looking for a fair amount of experience with trial experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery responses.
Conduct case intake and gather essential client and case details.
Manage client communication to provide updates and obtain necessary information.
Organize and review medical records, police reports, and insurance documentation.
Coordinate depositions, medical examinations, and court appearances.
Maintain case files and ensure all relevant information is up-to-date.
Prepare settlement demands and assist in negotiating settlements with insurance adjusters.
Support attorneys in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, subpoenas, and witness lists.
Track deadlines for filings, hearings, and discovery responses.
Qualifications:
Paralegal certificate or relevant experience in personal injury law.
Strong understanding of the litigation process and legal terminology.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
