Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable Specialist to support their AP operations. This individual will be responsible for full-cycle accounts payable processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have experience with job costing, 2-way matching, GL coding, and familiarity with sales and use tax. This is a contract to hire opportunity that will interview and start immediately. This role is paying $23-25/hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume vendor invoices with accuracy

  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

  • Three-way matching with purchase ordesr

  • Handle utility invoices and check requests

  • Maintain and update W-9 documentation and assist with 1099 reporting as needed

  • Support audits and month-end close with accurate documentation

  • Monitor AP inbox and ensure timely response to internal and external inquiries

  • Assist with special projects and provide support across AP functions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of full-cycle accounts payable experience

  • Bilingual in English/ Spanish, required

  • Bachelors degree preferred, associates degree required

  • Familiarity with sales and use tax regulations

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment



Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
