Key Account Manager
Location: Remote – Bay Area

Overview:

A confidential global technology leader is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee and grow a mature, high-value customer account. This role is ideal for a strategic, technically astute sales professional who thrives in complex, global environments and is passionate about building long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a major global customer, fostering trust and transparency.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and business growth goals.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for account expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with global engineering, supply chain, and executive teams to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies and deliverables.

  • Lead high-value negotiations involving pricing, schedules, and long-term agreements.

  • Monitor account performance, analyze trends, and provide data-driven insights.

  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and adaptability in high-pressure, cross-functional environments.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).

  • 5+ years of sales experience in high-speed interconnects, power, or electromechanical components.

  • Proven success managing multi-million dollar or global accounts.

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate across engineering and executive functions.

  • Experience with international business practices and executive-level negotiations.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 annually

  • Bonus: Targeted annual bonus opportunity

  • Paid Time Off: 3 weeks PTO
