Key Account Manager
Location: Remote – Bay Area

Overview:
A confidential global technology leader is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee and grow a mature, high-value customer account. This role is ideal for a strategic, technically astute sales professional who thrives in complex, global environments and is passionate about building long-term partnerships.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for a major global customer, fostering trust and transparency.
Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer needs and business growth goals.
Identify and drive opportunities for account expansion, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with global engineering, supply chain, and executive teams to deliver integrated solutions.
Translate complex technical requirements into actionable strategies and deliverables.
Lead high-value negotiations involving pricing, schedules, and long-term agreements.
Monitor account performance, analyze trends, and provide data-driven insights.
Demonstrate emotional intelligence and adaptability in high-pressure, cross-functional environments.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
5+ years of sales experience in high-speed interconnects, power, or electromechanical components.
Proven success managing multi-million dollar or global accounts.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to communicate across engineering and executive functions.
Experience with international business practices and executive-level negotiations.
Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary: $160,000 – $190,000 annually
Bonus: Targeted annual bonus opportunity
Paid Time Off: 3 weeks PTO
