We are currently recruiting for an HR Generalist job in Greensboro, NC! This is a fully on-site, temp to hire role. We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years of experience in a Generalist capacity, ideally with a population of 500+ employees. This role is heavy on employee relations but truly has their hands in onboarding, benefits, exit interviews, you name it. You must have proven experience with managing processes, have a high sense of urgency and be able to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Serves as a main point-of-contact for employees and managers as it relates to HR programs, policies, and procedures.
Assists in resolving employee issues.
Maintain data or files in the HRIS System.
Assists with the administration of benefits including invoice reconciliation and auditing.
Verifies time entered and researches shortage claims.
Conducts onboarding of all new employees.
Submits criminal background checks and drugs screens.
Conducts onboarding of all independent contractors and temporary employees.
Handles the offboarding of independent contractors.
Ensures new hire paperwork is completed.
Processes invoices for all HR-related expenses, reconciles issues and manages contracts and vendor relationships.
Manages departmental budget spreadsheets for HR-related expenses.
Creates photo ID badges and maintains security access system.
Assists with Immigration processes and human resources audits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred
At least 3 years of HR Generalist experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
HRIS experience
Strong communication skills
Strong critical thinking skills
Creative problem solver
Strong attention to detail
Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
