Accounting Clerk

LHH has partnered with a company in the north suburbs to assist with a search for an accounting specialist. The accounting specialist will handle both accounts payable and receivable. This is a temporary opportunity and they are looking for someone that can work part time 30 hours/week.

• 
  

  Discrepancy resolution

• 
  

  Collections follow up

• 
  

  Updating customer accounts

• 
  

  Cash applications

• 
  

  Process accounts payable

• 
  

  Reconcile vendor statements

• 
  

  Ensure vendor accounts are updated in the system

• 
  

  Scanning and filing as needed

Requirements:

• 
  

  2 or more years of experience in AP and AR

• 
  

  Prior experience with Excel and ERP systems

• 
  

  Must be analytical and deadline driven

Pay: $25-$28/hour
