LHH is recruiting for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our client in the Portland Metro area. This role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic and electromechanical equipment, both on-site and in the field. You'll be the go-to product expert for selected product lines, conducting installations, training sessions, and providing technical support to customers and field service engineers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install and retrofit equipment, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Service and repair company products, assisting customers with process issues.
Perform preventative maintenance, start-ups, and warranty activities.
Act as a liaison with customers and manage administrative tasks.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Maintain records and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications/Education/Skills and Experience:
2+ years' experience in semiconductor/electronic equipment
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Advanced troubleshooting skills and knowledge of process control.
Ability to solve complex system problems.
Proficient in MS Windows XP and Office.
Physical Demands:
Able to perform physical tasks and work in a cleanroom environment.
