Customer Service Representative (Hybrid – Houston, TX)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in a hybrid capacity, with one in-office day per week (Wednesdays) at our Houston location. This role supports customer satisfaction by processing orders, preparing correspondence, and resolving inquiries across multiple communication channels including phone, email, and chat.
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of experience in customer service or a related field and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with standard concepts and procedures is essential, as the role follows established guidelines under direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
Process orders and manage customer correspondence efficiently.
Maintain accurate records and follow up on customer needs.
Communicate clearly and effectively across various platforms.
Required Skills:
Proficient typing skills (minimum 45 WPM).
Strong literacy and basic math skills for billing calculations.
Ability to learn quickly and retain new information.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Positive attitude and strong interpersonal communication.
Preferred Experience:
Use of multi-line phone systems such as Avaya or Cisco.
Familiarity with CRM systems like CC&B, NOVA, or Medisoft.
Work Schedule: Candidates must be flexible to work any shift between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday. The initial shift will be 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with potential for extended hours during high call volumes or outages.
