Position Title: Data Analyst
Position Overview: Are you a data enthusiast with a knack for detail and a passion for making a difference? We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects that will have a significant impact on our client's operations and patient safety. If you excel in data management and are proficient in Excel, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Database Cleanup:
- Remove duplicate records and separate combined records in the current database.
- Delete old records following stringent regulatory procedures, which involve change order requests for edits, deletions, and additions.
- Data Management:
- Log into the system to pull out necessary records and associated files.
- Categorize and manage files related to device validations, ensuring proper import into the new system.
- Marketing Dashboard and Funnel Management:
- Categorize error codes from HubSpot to Salesforce sync issues, fix them in Excel, and potentially work on Power BI reports.
Typical Day:
- Data Cleanup for Sterility Guide Project (50%): Cleaning up the database by removing duplicates, separating combined records, and deleting old records.
- File Category Management (30%): Managing and sorting files associated with each device validation record, ensuring proper import into the new system.
- Marketing Dashboard and Funnel Management (20%): Categorizing error codes from HubSpot to Salesforce sync issues, fixing them in Excel, and potentially working on Power BI reports.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel, including data management and categorization.
- Experience with data extraction and import processes.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, Encoda, or Power BI is a plus.
Tech Stack/Systems/Software:
- Excel: Used extensively for data cleanup, file management, and fixing sync issues.
- Viva: Current system for regulatory and QA approvals, which is being replaced.
- Propel: New system where the sterility guide database will be migrated.
- HubSpot: Used for managing marketing leads.
- Salesforce: CRM system where marketing leads are synced from HubSpot.
- Power BI: Preferred for creating and fixing marketing reports.
Employment Details:
- Worksite Type: Remote, any time zone. Work hours generally 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility.
